Overview

Discover du Côté des Olivades in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional des Alpilles, just at the foot of the Baux de Provence castle. This 4-star hotel overlooks and opens onto a century old olive grove and swimming pool where you can immerse yourself in the gardens and fragrances of Provence. It’s easily accessible to Caumont, Garons and Marseille Provence airports and just walking distance to the quaint village of Maussanne-Les-Alpilles.

Du Côté des Olivades is a boutique hotel that offers 10 rooms, each with a private balcony or terrace with gorgeous views of the Alpilles. The suites are spacious and well-lit with large windows. They are equipped with air-conditioning, satellite TV, WIFI, a mini-bar and large, comfortable beds. When the dry cleaning bag, available in your private bathroom, is placed in front of the door, you can expect to find clean clothes hanging in your room the following day.

Chef Nancy Bourguignon creates delectably light and refined cuisine at the hotel’s restaurant, Côté des Olivades. She uses local products and flavours for her meals, and her passion for cooking, creativity and tradition is apparent on every plate. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner with a reservation, and can be served under the shade of a parasol in the garden or in the air-conditioned restaurant.

The wine list is constantly changing, following the vision of André Bourguignon and his daughter Vanessa who collect Provencal and international vintages. Guests are always invited to try the newest on the menu for dinner.

As an added luxury, the hotel offers reservations to their spa, promoting relaxation and wellness in an affordable package. High-quality brands SkinCeuticals, Carita and Décléor are used to provide exceptional treatments. The spa also has a fitness and sports studio, steam room, sensory pool and cold water pool.

Surrounding du Côté des Olivades, are many villages to explore. Maussane is just a five-minute walk away and has a charming shopping street and a fountain in the large square. You can also discover the castle ruins of Paradou, a tiny picturesque Medieval village with old, restored stone houses surrounded by colourful flower gardens and pedestrian alleys.

The Baux-de-Provence castle is a local favourite and only a two-minute drive away. The village and its castle have towered above the valley for thousands of years. You can also try golf courses nearby, and Arles Ampitheatre is only 14 km away.
