Time stands still at Domaine de la Pierre Blanche. Nestled in the heart of Les Alpilles national park in the town of Eygalières, this boutique hotel is a place to rest and experience the flavours and lifestyle of Provence. Surrounded by olive trees and Syrah vineyards with magnificent views of the Alpilles mountains, Domaine de la Pierre Blanche is like a Provencal-inspired watercolour painting come to life.

The recently renovated suites are tastefully decorated and emit their own combination of colours, textures and treasures of Provence.  Each room is nature-themed and provides a luxury of bathtubs, large spaces, comfortable lounges and beds and wonderful views. The suites come with private terraces and some are equipped with an outdoor Jacuzzy. Have your continental or buffet breakfast overlooking the lavender garden, olive trees and pool. In addition to comfort, the hotel offers free WIFI, flatscreen TV, air conditioning, coffee machine, fridge and toiletries.

Domaine de la Pierre Blanche guests can dine at the onsite restaurant, L’Opale where French cuisine and other world flavours are fused for lunch and dinner. Have your meals under the stars while enjoying cuisine creations from chef Patrick Pando and sous-chef Marco Ventrella. Brunches are also served on Sundays, and all meals have a seasonal menu using local, Provencal ingredients.

The town of Eygalières is only 3 km away from the hotel where the Marché d’ Eygalières (market) is a highlight on Fridays. Other markets can be found throughout the villages of Provence, including Gordes on Tuesday, Saint Remy de Provence on Wednesday, Aix en Provence on Thursday, Uzès on Saturday and Isle sur la Sorgue on Sunday. The most photogenic views can be seen along the roads from Eygalières to Aurellie, and lavender fields are in full bloom from June to August in the Luberon and Verdon regions.

For art inspiration, visit Saint Remy where Van Gogh, Matisse and Cèzanne are honoured painters. Avignon’s theatre festival takes place in July, and it also gives you the opportunity to visit the Palais des Papes.
