Located  15 km north of Aix-en-Provence between the ridges of the Trevaresse and the River Durance, Le Puy St Reparade is a quaint village surrounded by vineyards, the Luberon and the Alpilles hills. With its ancient, carved stones and other monuments tracing back to the Iron Ages and future battles, Puy St Reparade's history is one of Romans, religion, the plague, and besieged battles. Visit La Quille and La Quiho, a 450-metre hill that marks the ruins of an 8th-century fortress. Take a walk along the lovely pathway leading up to the Sainte Reparade chapel where there are stunning panoramic views from the summit.
