Hotel Auberge la Fenière is a charming, family-run hotel restaurant situated between the quintessential Mediterranean villages of Cadenet and Lourmarin. This beautiful 6-hectare estate at the foot of the Lubéron is surrounded by private gardens rich with aromatic herbs, vegetable patches, and cherry, olive and fig trees.

The hostel has seven provencal style rooms designed by local craftsmen: a standard room, four superior rooms and a small suite with private terraces. All rooms have private bathrooms and twin or queen-size beds. A ground floor standard room is available next to the family’s farmhouse that also has a private terrace and bathroom.

There are five Bellevue suites with contemporary and rock n’ roll designs. These rooms are at the top of the property and have a swimming pool, king-size beds, living rooms, bathrooms with shower, and private terraces with stunning views of the Durance Valley.

The hotel is notorious for its restaurant and farm courtyard to dine. All meals, including breakfast, are an additional charge and are made from the freshest local produce. Since Auberge la Feniere follows the ‘free cuisine’ philosophy, guests have more of a selection in their ingredients, including gluten and lactose-free meals. Local wines are always on offer, and the pub has a deliciously popular Sunday brunch.

Take cooking classes from culinary experts at Auberge la Feniere with head chef Nadia Sammut. She teaches everything you need to know about bread, pasta and pesto, and how you can incorporate different types of nuts into your meals. The Little Chef Workshop is popular with children, with or without food allergies.

Children also enjoy the large playground and two outdoor swimming pools. Adults indulge in massage treatments, local wines, and bicycle tours throughout the region. Enjoy the scenery of the Durance river, the Ochre Trail, and Val Jaonis Chateau, which is only several km away.
